Send to those who agreed to receive your messages
SendRepute supports opt-in messaging. Learn about our rules regarding consent, unsubscribe requests, prohibited messages and reporting abuse.
SendRepute helps improve legitimate opt-in messages. Our analysis tools, the email builder, our API and SendRepute Campaigns must not be used to create, hide or distribute spam.
Get consent before sending
Only send marketing messages to recipients who have opted in. Keep a record of consent and clearly explain who the sender is and what recipients should expect. Do not use purchased, rented or scraped lists, bulk addresses, or lists obtained without valid consent.
Identify yourself and respect opt-outs
Use accurate sender information and a truthful subject line. Provide a clear and functional way to unsubscribe from marketing messages, process opt-out requests promptly, and do not re-add unsubscribed recipients without renewed consent. Do not disguise promotional content as a personal message or mandatory service notification.
Prohibited use
Do not use our tools for phishing, impersonation, fraud, sending malicious attachments and links, deceptive offers, or evading spam filters to reach people who did not consent. Rewriting content does not grant you permission to send it.
Build healthy sending practices
Use Domain Check to review SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS and available public threat-list signals. Please note that Domain Check does not automatically fix DNS errors. Review your sending IP address, domain and IP reputation, list quality, complaint rates, bounce handling and sending volume with your email provider. SendRepute helps identify and reduce risks, but the receiving mailbox provider decides where each message is placed, and we do not promise any fixed inbox placement rate.
Scope and enforcement
The central SendRepute design and analysis tools do not send email. SendRepute Campaigns is a separate sending product that uses your connected providers. This policy applies to both. We may restrict or suspend access when these rules are violated, and we may request information necessary to review abuse reports. You remain responsible for applicable laws and your sending provider's rules.
Reporting abuse
Use our contact form to report any suspected misuse. Include the relevant message or sending domain and any information necessary to understand the report. Never send passwords, recovery keys or other credentials.
