Check your domain's email settings: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS
Check SPF, DMARC, DNS and five public threat feeds for free. Optional sending-IP and DKIM public-key checks, with repair guidance. No account needed.
A domain check reads your domain's published settings and checks public threat feeds. SendRepute's tool is free and needs no account. Adding a sending IP or DKIM selector is optional.
Which email settings are checked?
DNS holds your domain's published settings. The tool reads A, AAAA, NS and MX records, including null MX. MX identifies receiving mail hosts. SPF lists permitted senders; its structure is checked, not actual sender authorisation. DMARC tells recipients how to handle failed authentication. Inherited DMARC is checked too: when a subdomain has no record, the organisational parent's `sp=` policy applies if present, otherwise `p=`.
To check DKIM, add a selector such as google or selector1 from your email provider. The tool reads its public-key DNS record, not signatures on actual messages. Never enter a private key.
Why add a sending IP?
PTR maps an IP to a hostname. With your public outbound sending IP, the tool checks that hostname resolves back to the same IP. Your MX host receives mail and may not send it.
Which five public feeds are used?
* CERT Polska: malicious domains, focused on Poland.
* Phishing.Database: active phishing domains.
* HaGeZi Threat Intelligence Feeds Mini: malware, phishing and scam domains.
* jacobyoby: honeypot attack IPs.
* YueXuan HFish: honeypot attack IPs.
The last two require a sending IP and describe observed attacks, not email spam. Feeds are fetched on demand and cached briefly. Each result shows its source, update time and status. Stale or unavailable data never counts as clean. Spamhaus and mailbox-provider blocklists are not checked.
What should I do with the results?
Pass means the checked scope passed; warning needs attention; fail identifies an issue; inconclusive means the tool cannot determine a result. Each finding includes repair steps. Use the DMARC record wizard to help create a policy. A clean result does not guarantee inbox placement or search ranking.
