How is email engagement tracked?
The Campaigns-owned open-tracking pixel and click-link rewriting are optional and independently selectable per campaign. These local controls are independent of provider-native tracking and events. Choices affect newly prepared messages, not delivered emails. Recipient opt-outs from email tracking suppress local tracking, independent of mailing list unsubscription. Reported counts are approximate and do not guarantee inbox placement. This engagement tracking is distinct from advertising tracking, which has been removed.
